Volunteer Opportunities: Duties and Point System
Minimum points required:
- New swim families (any level swimmer) – 175 points per year
- All other swim families (any level swimmer) – 350 points per year
- Volunteer point cheque: Cheque for $500 is provided to club and held until July 2014
- New families point cheque: Cheque for $250 is provided to club and held until July 2014
*** Minimum of: 25 from Bingo, 50 from fundraising, 100 from hosted swim meets

- President – 175 points
- Vice-President – 175 points
- 2nd Vice-President – 175 points
- Secretary – 175 points

- Registrar – 175 points

Fundraising Activities
- Bingo-Rep Apprentice – 75 points per year
- Bingo Coordinators – 200 points per year
- Bingo Workers – 25 points per bingo (deduction of 25 pts for no show)
- Tag Day Organizer – 100 points
- Tag Day Participation – 10 points per family
- Leaf Day Organizer – 100 points
- Leaf Day Participation – 25 points for weekend (Sat & Sun)
- Other Fundraiser Organizer – to be determined by executive
- Bingo-Rep Apprentice (50 points)
- Bingo Coordinators (150 points for the year)
- Bingo Workers (75 points for the year)

Swim Meet Positions
- Meet Manager-in town – 250 points
- Meet Manager-in town Assistant – 75 points
- Officials Course Participant – 25 points
- Timer/Official at meet – 25 points for 4 hours
- Timer/Official at meet – 50 points for 5 hours plus
- Time Trials Official – 10 points per session
- Canteen Coordinator – 150 points per meet
- Kitchen Coordinator – 150 points per meet
- Officials Coordinator – 100 points per meet
- Canteen/Kitchen Helper – 25 points – half day
- Canteen/Kitchen Helper – 50 points – full day
- Swimmer Chaperon – 100 points – 1 overnight

- On-site Food Coordinator – 35 points and complimentary room (need a vehicle)

Swimmer participation at meets: Swimmers (high school age) and over may take officials courses
or participate on deck during meets for points or volunteer hours.
