SWIMATHON 2011-RESULTS/PRIZES

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO PARTICPATED IN SWIMATHON THIS YEAR! WHAT A SUCCESS! OUR NUMBERS WERE EXCELLENT, THE SWIMMERS DID WELL AND AS A CLUB WE MADE ABOUT $6700!!!! THE MONEY RAISED GOES INTO THE CLUB'S COFFERS AND IS USED FOR OUR MANY COSTS INCLUDING SALARIES, EQUIPEMENT, POOL RENTAL, ADMINISTRATION ETC. THE PRIZES WILL BE GIVEN OUT ON SATURDAY APRIL 9 AND WE WILL BE DOING THE DRAWS...

Dominique Bouchard continues to prove that she is an elite swimmer. The former North Bay Titans swimmer won silver in the 200 yard backstroke at the 2013 NCAA Championships as a member of the University of Missouri Tigers in Indianapolis on the weekend. It was a record breaking swim, which saw Bouchard record the 7th fastest time for the 200 yard back in NCAA history. The North Bay Y Titans sent nine swimmers to compete at the Fred B Champs in Timmins this past weekend. All the swimmers achieved personal best times in their events with Andrew Bell, Max Giesler, Kristen Gough, and Daneill White landing in the top three finishes....
